DSS, Ireland's leading infrastructure and services company, has just announced that it has been awarded the contract to supply Trinity College, Dublin, with its desktop PC and Laptop requirements on the HP platform for the next year.
Following a competitive tendering process, DSS were one of two suppliers selected to supply Trinity College with their Desktop PC and Laptop requirements. This contract is for an initial period of one year, with an option to extend this to three years. The contract will see DSS supplying a range of HP products including desktops, standard notebooks, lightweight option HP notebooks, tablet PCs and iPAQ's.
"Providing the Desktop and Laptop requirements to one of the country's best known universities, Trinity College Dublin, is a significant achievement for DSS", stated Richard Nolan, Managing Director for DSS. "This win further endorses our strategy of targeting and winning key government accounts, in particular in the education sector. We look forward to working with TCD and developing a long term and mutually beneficial relationship" he added.
Only recently DSS announced an important contract win with the Dublin Institute of Technology while other key successes in the government sector include the LGCSB, NEHB and Dept of Defence.
