DSS is a
Microsoft Gold Partner for Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, with many Microsoft Certified Professionals on staff. This level of certification is the highest distinction available from Microsoft for its channel partners, and provides access to a number of Microsoft corporate resources as well as information available only to selected Partners. Qualification for this status requires the most up-to-date staff training, successful implementation of Microsoft solutions of enterprise scale, as well as customer references.
DSS help clients achieve an accelerated payback on their Windows implementation through reduced desktop management costs due to increased reliability; reduced help desk calls; increased uptime; and reduced network administration costs from enhanced remote management and software distribution capability.
Getting your project startedThe first step to undertaking a potential project involving the implementation or upgrade to
Microsoft technologies will typically start with a security audit at which time key vulnerabilities and issues within the existing system are identified and recommendations are made on technologies to secure your IT environment. Services provided by our Microsoft team range from assessing and recommending the ideal design to deploying and migrating to a new Windows environment.
DSS Microsoft Certified professionals facilitate and lead technology workshop briefings and off-site assessments in which key data is gathered to gain a full understanding of the site in order to design the most appropriate solution. Typically this will involve:
- Understanding the objectives of the project
- Understanding the set-up of the existing IT infrastructure and key dependencies etc within the environment
- Identifying the key client resources that will work on the project
- Outlining the most appropriate design solution and how it will integrate with your existing environment. The findings from this workshop briefing will be collated and recommendations are made on the technology implementation. Additionally, depending on the extent of the information-gathering phase, a proposed project plan and costs will be presented to the client.
