DSS are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted in the IT project of the year at this years IT Excellence awards. This award is for companies responsible for delivering an outstanding application of enterprise-level business technology.
Now in its tenth year, the ICT Excellence Awards represent the most respected business accolade in the technology industry. The IT Project of the Year is awarded to the company responsible for delivering an outstanding application of business technology.
DSS have been nominated for the work that has been carried out to date with Mainstream Renewable Power in the design and implemention of their global IT Infrastructure.
Mainstream Renewable Power selected DSS to partner with to provide hardware and software products, technical resources and professional services in the rollout of their global IT infrastructure to locations in EMEA, North and South America and AsiaPAC. This deal has been worth €2.4m to DSS in the past year and has been extremely successful in its implementation in delivering a wide range of benefits to Mainstream.
The PACE program is the name given by Mainstream to the IT project which incorporates Finance and HR Systems, Document Management Systems, Managed Services and IT Infrastructure implementation and support.
A key element of this program has been the successful completion by DSS of the implementation of Microsoft Hyper V’s virtualisation software, the largest of its kind in Ireland to date.
