Open Office in Moscow, Russia

DSS, a leading provider of IT infrastructure and solutions to the Irish market and the EMEA region, has just announced the recent opening of a sales office in Moscow, Russia.
This move comes following a strategic decision by the management of DSS to target this growing and wealthy economy. The growth of the Russian economy over the past five years has been based on high export prices and the competitiveness created by the 1998 devaluation as well as the fact that Russian privatised enterprises have reacted to market signals in correct ways.
DSS consider that entering and supplying IT equipment and peripherals to this market is a natural fit based on the current range of services provided to other countries throughout the EMEA region. Use of the internet and specifically the DSS designed e-procurement system has been an enabler for transacting across country borders.
